The clients wished for a fresher and softer architecture to their recently bought house. The refurbishment creates a warmer image to the house through the new wooden lattices on the facades. At the same time the client gets more privacy both to indoor spaces and the large balconies, as they long for it, and the more natural layer in the facade integrates the building better to the delicate surrounding in one of the capes of Jollas neighbourhood. The placing of the wooden lattices preserves the impressive views to the sea and the forest and it will be built touching the existing structures as less as possible. The goal is to also protect the large balconies from the wind as much as allowed in the master plan. In addition to the facade changes indoor spaces are refurbished bringing wood inside to create a softer atmosphere and improve the acoustics of the spaces.
